Amanda joined our team in the spring of 2013, beginning her journey with us as a line cook for client, MoCo’s Founding Farmers, and quickly becoming a highly valued culinary team member.
After receiving her degree in Kinesiology from the University of New Hampshire, Amanda moved to Orlando where she worked as marketing manager for a watersports complex. Later relocating to Washington, DC to continue her marketing career at a local promotional company, she decided it was time to work towards a career in an area she really loved: food.
Amanda graduated from L’Academie de Cuisine in 2012 and completed her culinary externship at MoCo’s Founding Farmers. After six months of working in the kitchen, she began assisting Chef Joe with menu development, training, and kitchen operations projects for our client’s restaurant concepts.
Amanda enjoys learning about every aspect of the food and beverage industry and is constantly working on various projects. Her experience, discipline, open mind, and willingness to learn something new every day serve her well in the vital role she plays for our company, and greatly benefits each of our clients who work with her.
