We are proud to announce that VSAG Founder Dan Simons has been named EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 for the mid-Atlantic region. Dan was recognized for his development of VSAG and as co-owner of Farmers Restaurant Group.

Immersed in the daily functions and focus of growing his businesses and his teams with partner Michael Vucurevich, Dan oftentimes acknowledges that it doesn’t feel like work at all when you get to do what you love.

Digging in and sharing his passion for and dedication to the restaurant and hospitality industry, surrounded by people with that same drive every day, is just the icing on the proverbial cake. Ok, so it just might be the icing on one of those delicious, handmade cakes that Farmers Restaurant Group is famous for, but it’s the icing that’s special just the same.

Those of us who get to work with and learn from Dan and his restaurant entrepreneurship, and witness his commitment to building successful restaurant brands and developing our teams, are inspired every day.
