Out in Front: Dan Simons Talks Restaurant Trends

As co-owner in VSAG client Farmers Restaurant Group’s growing Founding Farmers farmer-owned brand of restaurants, Dan Simons is asked to represent VSAG and our clients on a regular basis.

Dan loves getting involved and participating in restaurant and hospitality industry conversations that lead to open discussions, and in turn shared education and progress.

Recently, Dan was invited to join Pennsylvania Secretary of Transportation Leslie Richards, and a  handful of other experts, in a lively panel discussion about industry trends targeting the future, and development of, suburban areas such as Pennsylvania’s King of Prussia district.

Why King of Prussia? Because the latest Founding Farmers restaurant, Founding Farmers King of Prussia, is slated to open later this fall in the innovative King of Prussia Town Center.

Speaking to a packed room of over 150 guests, Dan remarked that the innovative infrastructure work happening in suburban areas like King of Prussia is some of the best suburban planning he has seen.

“We are delighted to be part of such thoughtful community planning,” he said. “King of Prussia has created a magic recipe for carefully crafting a fantastic neighborhood to live, work, eat, and play. The future for its residents and businesses is going to be great.”
