Jon is more than a great bartender, he elevates bar programs with his unique mastery of the art and craft of mixing cocktails.

By studying the classics and experimenting with lesser known distilled spirits and mixers, Jon offers our clients innovative bar programs that enliven their guests while providing hands-on, invaluable training for bar staff to ensure proper bar & beverage service.

Jon began his career as an actor and like many actors he found work in restaurants and bars. The worlds of entertainment and hospitality aligned when he joined the bar & beverage team at a high-volume, successful restaurant brand. Behind the bar, he developed a true culinary appreciation for fine spirits, fresh ingredients, and handcrafted juices.

After seven years, Jon was recruited to open a new BBQ concept in Philadelphia. Sponsored by Jim Beam brands, Jon helped develop their whiskey bar concept, which quickly became the hottest new destination bar in town. After his success in the restaurant industry, Jon returned to acting, until his passion for bar & beverage concepts was shaken & stirred in 2008 when he was approached to develop and lead the bar program for client, Founding Farmers. An innovative concept which opened that year and went on to win the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington’s RAMMY Award for Best Beverage/Mixology Program in 2011.

Jon continues to innovate and explore the world of high-quality cocktails, wines, craft beers, and spirits as our Beverage Director, while also serving as the Director of Education for the U.S. Bartenders Guild DC Chapter.
