Nathan’s strong background in internal controls, financial reporting, planning, and analysis has proven integral in driving the financial management and accountability of our company.
After completing his BS in Accounting from James Madison University, Nathan began his career working as an accounting specialist in the manufacturing field. While working in the flexible packaging industry, Nathan completed his MBA with a concentration in finance at La Salle University. Upon completion of his MBA, Nathan followed in his father’s footsteps and headed to Ernst & Young to further develop his abilities.
After working in financial services, Nathan relocated to Washington, D.C. and looked to his passion for food to find his next professional opportunity. He accepted a job as controller at a hospitality and entertainment organization that consisted of a museum, multiple restaurants, and retail outlets. He then found his niche in hospitality finance working as director of finance for our client, Farmers Restaurant Group, in early 2012.
Nathan’s diverse financial experience, ranging from small private organizations to large public companies, combined with his management experience and passion for the hospitality industry, make him an invaluable asset to our VSAG team.
Nathan and his wife live in Alexandria, VA with their daughter Collins Olivia and dog Grady. In his free time he enjoys traveling and exploring new cities.
