Conceptualizing a National Model for a Lifestyle Experiences Center, Utilizing F&B for Entertainment
LivingSocial is an online daily deals website that launched 918 F Street, its first brick-and-mortar event space, in 2011. 918 F Street is a unique, multi-level lifestyle experience space in downtown Washington, D.C. that offers concurrent cooking and mixology classes, pop-ups, art shows, and private events catering daily.
We were tasked with managing the launch of the space, specifically the execution of food & beverage operations, and the evaluation of overall operations, systems, accountability, and facilities management.
Our team of food & beverage consultants started from scratch to create an operations and management plan for the opening of the lifestyle center. With onsite assessments, we were able to effectively implement the right systems in order to create internal efficiency and capture additional profit in the evaluations phase.
Our experienced bar consultants created custom beverage and mixology development and training systems. We also assisted in the pre-opening stages of the space to establish financial accounting systems, navigate routine legal procedures, and recruit, hire, and train front of house and back office staff.
