VSAG was engaged to help Executive Chef and Cucina 39 President Chef Keaton Hopkins take his vision to develop and launch a line of specialty gourmet sauces and Italian foods as a premier retail line. VSAG provided business guidance and strategy, financial planning and culinary support to obtain the co-packer for product packaging; guided the creative design for label and brand development; and oversaw distribution planning to maximize the Cucina 39 brand and market placement. Most important, the leverage of the VSAG network added to the rapid success of the Cucina 39 line with introductions to retailers such as Whole Foods, Balducci’s and Marvelous Market, all stores that carry Chef Keaton’s line today.
